Kathleen

O'Grady

Kathleen O’Grady (SAG-AFTRA, AEA) has been an actor all her life. She grew up in LA and did commercials as a kid until her family moved to the bay area where volleyball, soccer and boys took over till college. She studied at Chicago’s Theater School at DePaul University back when it was still called The Goodman School of Drama under legendary teachers Bella Itkin and Joe Slovick. After getting her BFA, she worked all over the exciting theater scene in Chicago until love took her to New York where she worked Off and Off-Off Broadway. In 2014 Kathleen left NYC for LA, circling back to where she started. At Theatre of NOTE, her artistic home in LA, Kathleen has also been directing and producing. Recent theater credits include: LA: The new play Fruition by Alexis DeLa Rosa and directed by Lauren Smerkanich, Year of the Rooster directed by McKerrin Kelly,  Kirsten Vangsness' new play Cleo, Theo & Wu directed by Lisa Dring at Note, Hollywood Premier Party The Show-directed by Kerry Logan, Street Corner Named Desire: Neo Theater Ensemble, Ferguson The Play: Verbatim Theater, TalhotBlond- directed by Beverly Olevin at The Ruskin Group Theatre. Film & TV: Murder in the First, Law & Order, and a recurring role in the ‘Christopher Chronicles’ a web series for The Cystic Fibrosis community, as well as a bunch of commercials.
